A truly stunning home, warm and cozy!

In the Jordaan district, a bourgeois bohemian neighborhood of Amsterdam, a former warehouse turned into this lovely home.
Marius Haverkamp (architect, interior designer and head of Flow company) and his wife Emily Gray (owner and designer of the Gray Label, an organic cotton clothing label for kids) discovered, renovated and transformed an old warehouse into a wonderful home for them and their 4 children.
"Strategic" parts from the industrial past of the building have been maintained and mixed harmoniously with its modern present. The beautiful red-brick wall, the industrial flooring and tall windows have tied perfectly with the kitchen, which is the heart of the home and the amazing patio, made of glass and steel.
The emblematic chandelier, from black clay, made in Africa, dominates the space and gives the decorating tone.
The ground floor has warm, inviting places where coexist with antique, design objects and modern furniture.
Jordan and Emily's aim, as they say, was to live in a house with simple, personalized decoration, where everything is mix & match but most importantly, children can move freely throughout the house.

The perfect balance of old and new

Vintage House Daylesford is an 1860's miners cottage on the border of Daylesford and Hepburn Springs (Australlia) that is available to rent as luxury accommodation. The property is completely restored and re-designed with love by the owner, interior designer and stylist Kali Cavanagh, to highlight the original features of the house. Combining the use of wood, metals and shades of white, black and everything in between, to bring new life to the cottage. Finished with antique, vintage and industrial furniture and artwork from around the globe like French stable doors, subway tiles, antique wooden shutters, a vintage fan, an old post office table from England, an amazing cast-iron bathtub and industrial style pendant lights.

From a warehouse to a beautiful house

The fashion designer Lynda Newton and her husband Paul, with the help of Stoll Long Architecture, transformed an old and almost rundown warehouse in Melbourne in this lovely home. Linda knowing very well how to use colors and textures, created a backdrop of white walls, which reflect light flowing through the many windows of the house, in a wonderful combination with the dark floor. Exposed red brick, which have survived along with as many as possible materials from the original building, give space character and warmth.
The sophisticated and eclectic combination of furniture, colors and artwork give a wonderful effect.
Also a surprising highlight is definitely the "glass" courtyard, which allows to get even more light in space.

Chanel 2014 summer boutique in Saint-Tropez.

This "ephemeral boutique", aka pop-up, is at La Mistralée hotel. The decoration is inspired by Chanel's rodeo-themed, Métiers d'Art Paris‐Dallas ready-to-wear collection.
